AdoptHere you can adopt square kilometres or hectares (one hectare is a plot of 100 metres by 100 metres or 2.47 acres) of protected areas in order to support and engage with the conservation of some of the world's most important environments.
You can adopt in our park of the month which is our current priority project or in our set of priority parks which all have projects in urgent need of funding. You can even choose to adopt in any one of more than 77, 000 nationally protected areas throughout the world, including some just around the corner from where you live.
If you choose to adopt outside of a priority park your funds will be open for bids to carry out conservation work in your chosen park or, if you choose, elsewhere within the country in which you have adopted. You get to vote on which of these bids is funded in a particular year.
